Forest of Antennae *+hypersleep.concerts

At the end of every edition we always invited local artists to provide the cosmic background and humming sounds of our imaginary spaceship to help along. As traced in the initial idea of the event – ‘sleep concerts’ are an essential part of every cozzzmo edition, they make it a sleepover, and also explore ways in which the universe is not to be perceived as entirely perceivable to the waking mind but also in the reverie or as an audible Vorschein of interstellar travels in the words of Ernst Bloch. Of course, the photos do not do any grace to the actual feel of it. It is also one of the most ‘heroic’ tasks – because it usually takes place well into the night.

Waka x aka Felix Petrescu from the pioneering Timisoara electronica duo Makunouchi Bento (check out their amazing output of albums!) has been an old friend and tireless supporter of Cozzzmonautica since its early days. He provided the intro for the 2022 Forest of Antennae edition as well as the soundtrack for the exhibition opening.

Erik Kun vs OLX provided the second act and sonorous help with the recs. It was a pleasure to meet him and befriend him in 2022. Here you can listen to his live set:
